Emily Duke's handmade ceramic pieces evoke James Castle through the subtle use of color and pattern variation. Each piece is handmade, and may vary slightly from the image.
Earning her MFA from The New York State College of Ceramics at Alfred University and an undergraduate degree in Crafts from the College for Creative Studies (Detroit), Emily has been working in the ceramics field for over 15 years. She’s participated in many artist residencies including Arts/Industry residency at the John Michael Kohler Arts Center, Ox-Bow School of Art, and Red Star Studios.
